NEWS: Have you appealed a decision of the EA?

SENAC are carrying out research into how the appeals aspect of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) legislative framework works, in practice, for parents and children

We are keen to learn about parents experiences of appealing a decision of the Education Authority (EA) and how the system worked / did not work for you and your children.

The views of parents is our central focus. The experiences and views of parents provide us with valuable information when engaging with policy makers which will ultimately assist us in having a positive impact on the whole SEN community.

We are also interested in why, if at any time, a parent may have considered appealing, but subsequently decided not to appeal.

We would be very grateful if you would take this short survey. Participation is voluntary and please be assured that all responses will be anonymous and treated in the strictest confidence.

The short survey can be completed by following this link https://forms.office.com/r/VzpaTjnbhd
